The work of byds+associates is characterised by a careful appreciation of context whilst still proposing distinct contemporary buildings. We are urban designers as well as architects and always start designing our proposals in the wider context. We should not treat them as individual buildings created in isolation but as extensions to the surroundings that they sit within.
